PACO RABANNE’S ‘12 UNWEARABLE’ NFTs
For his debut couture collection in 1966, Paco Rabanne presented ‘12 unwearable dresses in contemporary materials’. Now, the brand is pushing the concept of ‘unwearable’ further – uniting the past, present and future by creating 12 NFT dresses based on some of its most conceptual couture designs from the past seven decades. This 360 project re-transcribes the it through technological innovation, bringing together the great traditions of the past and the limitless potential of the future.
Owners of exclusive 1/1 NFTs will receive an exclusive invitation to the Paris atelier, where Julien Dossena and the French artisans who made the original heritage pieces will collaborate to create a custom physical version of the archive NFT design – made to measure to the owner’s requirements. This unique experience will also include a VIP invite to the next Paco Rabanne show, as a special guest of the fashion house.
