The penultimate collection from Paco Rabanne brought a sensual dimension to the dresses. The Spring-Summer 99 catwalk featured five armor dresses with plastic or metal “scales” with bodycon or mermaid silhouettes. The aluminum and steel chainmail dress was composed of metal sheets and featured a clingy silhouette with cutouts. The pieces played with the materials to best reveal the female form
